How it works
How do I use D2K's AI fence visualizer to see a fence on my own house?
Upload a photo of your yard, mark roughly where the fence should run, choose the material and color, and the visualizer renders that fence into your own photo. You get a before-and-after slider you can drag and a downloadable image — no account, no measuring and no sales call required.
Step by step
- 1. Take or choose a photo: Stand where you would look at the finished fence and shoot in daylight, landscape orientation, with the full run of ground visible. Clear the frame of cars and trash cans where you can.
- 2. Upload it: Use the upload area above — you can drop a file in or take a picture straight from your phone.
- 3. Mark the fence line: Trace roughly where the fence should run on the placement canvas. It does not need to be precise; it tells the AI which part of the yard to fence.
- 4. Pick material and style: Choose the category — vinyl privacy, ornamental aluminum, wood, chain link — then the specific product.
- 5. Pick a color: White or tan vinyl, black aluminum and the other finishes we actually install, so what you see is something we can build.
- 6. Generate: The render takes a few moments. Generate again with a different material or color to compare options on the same photo.
- 7. Compare and save: Drag the before/after slider to see the same view with and without the fence, then download the image to share with your spouse, your neighbor or your HOA.
Tips for a better render
- Shoot wide: Include the house or a fixed landmark so the AI has scale to work with.
- Even light: Overcast or open shade beats harsh midday shadows and backlighting.
- Show the ground: The bottom of the fence line matters most — keep the grade in frame.
- Try more than one: Most people run three or four combinations before deciding. That is what the tool is for.
One honest caveat: the visualizer is an AI concept image for design inspiration, not a measured plan or a quote. Heights, post spacing and how the fence follows your grade are set on site.
