D2K Fence & Landscape LLC ("D2K", "we", "us") is a fencing, landscaping and hardscaping contractor based in Hanover, PA. This policy explains how we handle information from visitors to d2kfenceandlandscape.com and from customers who work with us. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, project address, and details about the work you want done — submitted through our estimate request forms, the instant quote designer, the fence visualizer, or by phone, text and email.

Project information. Measurements, layouts, photos of your property, material selections, permit and utility-locate details, and signed estimates, contracts and change orders.

Payment information. Deposits and balances are processed by our payment provider. Card and bank numbers are entered on the provider's secure pages — we never store full card or account numbers on our systems. We do keep payment records such as amount, date, method and confirmation number.

Technical information. Standard server and analytics data such as pages viewed, referring page, device and browser type, and approximate region. We use this to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site fast and secure.

How we use it

To prepare and send estimates; to schedule and perform installations; to order materials; to file permits and request utility locates; to collect deposits and final payments; to provide warranty service; to answer questions; to send project updates, appointment reminders and review requests; and to improve our website and services.

How we share it

We share only what is needed to do the job: material suppliers (to price and order material), municipalities and utility-locate services (for permits and 811 locates), payment and financing providers, our email and scheduling providers, and — where a property line is involved — neighbor acknowledgment forms you have asked us to send. We also share information when required by law. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for unrelated advertising.

Photos of completed work

We sometimes photograph finished projects for our gallery and social media. Photos are published without your name or street address. If you would prefer your project not be shown, tell us and we will remove it.

SMS / text message communications

D2K Fence & Landscape LLC may send text messages to customers who have agreed to receive SMS communications. These messages are primarily used to provide transactional and project-related updates, including estimate notifications, contract notifications, deposit confirmations, permit or material status updates, scheduling information, installation updates, project completion notices, and other communications related to the customer's requested services or active project.

SMS consent. Customers may opt in to receive text message updates by providing verbal consent to a D2K Fence & Landscape LLC representative during the job quote or estimate process. The customer's mobile phone number and SMS communication preference may then be recorded in our customer management system. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message frequency and charges. Message frequency varies depending on the customer's project and project activity. Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer's wireless carrier and service plan.

Opting out. Customers may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message. After opting out, the customer will no longer receive automated SMS messages unless they subsequently opt in again through an approved method. Customers may reply HELP for assistance.

Mobile information and privacy. Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent information, and SMS opt-in data collected by D2K Fence & Landscape LLC are used to provide customer communications and project updates. Mobile information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

We may use service providers that assist us in delivering text messages and operating our communication systems. Information is shared with these providers only as necessary to provide these services on our behalf and subject to appropriate privacy and security requirements. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in to the customer portal, remember form progress, and measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some portal features will not work without them.

Data retention and security

Project, contract, invoice and payment records are kept as long as needed for warranty and for tax and accounting requirements. Access to customer records is restricted to D2K staff who need it, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
